Welcome to my website!
My name is Jeanette Lin. I come from Taiwan. I have been living in California, USA since 1992 when I came to study translation in Middlebury (Monterey) Institute of International Studies. My husband John is American and he is my editor for English writing. We live in San Jose, California. I love the nice weather and cultural diversity of California.
I wear at least three hats: I am a translator, writer and teacher. As a translator, I mainly translate documents and books from English into traditional Chinese. I enjoy expressing my creativy through taking on new assignments each time.
I am a published Chinese writer. My articles are pubished in the Chinese newspaper World Journal in the US. I am a blogger and I have written 3 books.
I teach Chinese in a Saturday Chinese school to elementary students. I enjoy learning new philosophy and digital tools for teaching. It is such a rewarding experience to see the students grow and develop as the class progresses. I believe I have made an impact on them.
I hope I will have the privilege to work with you. Please feel free to contact me via email: firstname.lastname@example.org if you have any questions and any projects. I look forward to hearing from you.
